Jamie and Jackie are best known as photographers, who work in a friendly and unobtrusive way to capture your special day in stunning images. However, Jamie's background is in film production, and he also produces beautiful wedding videos in Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset.
So what is Jamie's film background?
Jamie is a film producer with an international background, experience and award-winning talent. He has produced music videos for the likes of Ian Brown and Just Jack, and directs promotional films for companies locally and internationally, including the German Tourist Office, English Heritage and Wiltshire Council.
His documentaries have been screened at festivals, cinemas and picked up several film awards around the world.
When Jamie got married in 2010 he found that noone in the South West was producing high quality wedding videos, and certainly not at an affordable price. Since then he has produced stunning wedding videos with the same attention to detail and quality as he would any professional film production.
He has the experience, skills and equipment to produce the perfect record of your special day, and because he does this every day, it is always at an affordable price.
Inspired by his photographer wife Jackie, Jamie has also become a very successful wedding photographer. It has been a very busy Summer, first with the arrival of our baby boy Oscar, and then with several beautiful weddings, which we photographed and filmed. So we have finally updated the gallery of wedding photos on the official website, which you can view by CLICKING HERE.
We have also had so many nice emails and thank you cards from the happy couples that we photographed and filmed, which really makes our job even more enjoyable! So here are a few of the kind messages we have received.
Thank you so much for the brilliant job you did on the day! The photos are amazing! You put everyone at ease and everyone who came commented on how friendly and polite you were. We can't believe how many amazing pictures there are and have now put an album together of our favorites. Tory and Rich got married in the beautiful village of Mells, near Frome, on September 4th 2010. This film shows the highlights of their day, from their preparations, through the ceremony, to walking off as husband and wife!
The vicar was superb, the guests very friendly and the bride and groom looked fantastic. Congratulations to Tory and Rich!
On their DVD they also had a video guestbook, packed full of lovely personal messages, the full ceremony and the speeches.

I am currently editing the footage from last weekend's wedding and it's coming along really well. And this film is a little different, as the couple are not having a highlights version of the film, but are having an extended edit of the wedding venue arrivals (groom, guests and bride), the full ceremony, leaving the church, arriving at the reception venue and drinks with the guests and finally the speeches in full. At Wiltshire Wedding Video we always produce exactly what you want, after all it is your special day!
This means, their DVD will have all of these items edited together to select from the menu - either to play the whole day, or to specify a chapter or section of the day.

Laura and Scott got married at Haselbury Mill, near Crewkerne in Somerset, on Saturday 10th July 2010. The couple celebrated their special day with family and friends and the film below shows the highlights of their day - from the bride and bridesmaids preparations, to the first dance as husband and wife.
The film is edited to a song of their choice, Bon Jovi's "Thank you for loving me", which was also the song for their first dance.

Christian and Beth's wedding video has been edited together and it has been produced in 3 separate sections:
1) Highlights Film - a 3mins 30secs film of highlights from the wedding day, cut to their favourite song, Michael Bublé's "Everything".
2) Full Ceremony - from the entrance of the bride, to the exit of the bride and groom, this is the full ceremony, edited between the two camera angles and shots of guests etc.
3) The Speeches - the speeches and toasts in all their entirety.
These films have been programmed and burnt onto a Video DVD, that the couple can play on their TV and DVD Player, or Computer, or any device with a DVD Player. When they insert the DVD, a simple, yet beautiful, menu loads with their list of film options, for them to select 'play'. Below is an image of the menu playing on a TV - the DVDs are typically produced with widescreen (16:9) menu and film content.
And of course, the DVDs are presented beautifully as well, in printed DVD cases, and with a gold lightscribe (laser printed) disc. Christian and Beth's gold DVD is shown below.
And we always supply the happy couple with 3 copies of the DVD (typically they keep one for themselves and give one each to their parents or families).
We can also supply the highlights film as a high quality video file suitable for the internet - so you can add it to your YouTube, Vimeo, Myspace or FaceBook pages, or of course to a blog or website of your own. Mark and Kristy's Wedding Video

Mark and Kristy got married in the beautiful Priston Mill, near Bath in April 2010. For their wedding video, they had the full version of their vows, as well as the highlights of their day. This was all put on to DVD for them, all accessed via a simple but elegant menu, that they could watch on their TV or computer. We also provided them with a high quality internet compatible file (QuickTime H.264 LAN) of the highlights film, so they could add it to their Facebook pages, YouTube etc and therefore show friends and family around the world.
