Wedding videography in Bath and Wiltshire

Thursday, August 23, 2018

This year I have had the pleasure of filming and photographing so many beautiful wedding days in Bath, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset and the Costwolds. One really special wedding video, was to film Rachael and Stuart's big day in Bath this Spring - it was such an honour to be recommended by a reverend to capture their happiest of days.

And after sending them their completed wedding video, I received several really kind messages of thanks, from both the bride and the groom.  I simply had to share one of my favourite emails from them:

"As we reflect upon the day and show the video to friends and family we are delighted that you were able to capture the essence of the occasion. Your professional competence and relaxed manner enabled all guests to feel comfortable and natural, enabling a true picture to be painted; atmosphere, mood and energy. Such aspects are so much more difficult to capture with a still photograph and your filming captured the essence our wedding admirably. We thought you were particularly good with young children.

We wish you well and will have no reservation in commending you to others.

With our warmest wishes and thanks"

Groom’s wedding surprise for his bride

Sunday, January 29, 2017

Antony wanted to make something special as a surprise for his bride and his family, to show how much they mean to him and how much he loves them. So stepping completely outside his comfort zone he asked me to shoot a music video of him lip syncing to their favourite Michael Bublé song.

Such an incredible idea and a wonderful memory for him and everyone at their wedding reception. And if he was feeling nervous about getting up and speaking in front of a room full of people, then what better alternative to have them all in tears!

"Jamie was excellent to work with. His knowledge, experience and encouragement helped me make this possible, even though it was way out of my comfort zone. Jamie was very enthusiastic, understanding and brought this whole idea to a professional level. I would recommend him for any ideas that you would have." Antony H

Chinese Gatecrash Ceremony at Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury

Monday, August 29, 2016

Giles and Elaine's wedding at Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury got off to the most amazing start, with the groom and his brothers proving their worth and passing all the tests set by the sisters, allowing the groom safe passageway to the bride. Such an amazing tradition, this is the Chinese Gatecrash Ceremony.

Beautiful Wedding video at Orchardleigh House, Frome

Sunday, August 28, 2016

This year I have explored a variety of venues across the Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset countryside, whilst photographing and filming weddings, but in Summer I returned to the first venue I ever captured a wedding: Orchardleigh House in Frome.  Not only is it one of my favourite venues, but it is probably also the closest, being only 5 minutes away from our home in Frome.

Bryony and Dan had such a beautiful Summer wedding at St Mary's Church, on the grounds of Orchardleigh, followed by their reception at the House, and it was a pleasure to film their big day.

We both wanted to say a massive thank you for our wedding video and all of your help on our wedding day! We both love the video, especially the highlights video - we can't wait to show everyone!
Thank you again, Bryony & Dan x
